TJC Presents "A Feast of Old Favorites"

The Triangle Jewish Chorale will offer a taste of its extensive repertoire to delight your musical palate. Israel will be featured in several of the songs, ranging from the exuberance of “Y’Susum Midbar” (The Desert Shall Be Glad) to the introspective autumn song, “Shir Tishrei”. Yiddish tunes will include both a familiar lullaby and a jolly song of solidarity. And to mark the season, Chanukah will be honored in a Hebrew prayer and celebrated in a Ladino song from Yugoslavia. Whether from liturgy, Psalms, or settings by modern composers, this concert menu will have something for every musical taste.

Sunday December 4th, 2022, at 3:00 pm The Levin Jewish Community Center, 1937 W. Cornwallis Road, Durham.

Free admission – contributions welcome
